The goal of the Dutch Association for Theoretical Computer Science, NVTI (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Theoretische Informatica), is to advance theoretical computer science in the Netherlands. It was founded on March 17, 1995, as a forum for people interested in theoretical computer science, understood in a broad sense as the area covered by well-known conferences such as CCC, ICALP,ESA ICLP, SODA, STACS, MFCS, MFPS, FOCS, FCT, LICS, RTA and STOC. The Association also offers a common umbrella for the various Dutch graduate research schools in as far as they cover areas relevant for theoretical computer science.
